墨西哥將軍寇提斯（Humberto Mariles Cortes）是1948年倫敦奧運馬術金牌得主。寇提斯是最後出場的選手，在他之前出場的選手成績最好的是烏瑞薩（Ruben Uriza），總共只被扣8分，所以寇提斯的扣分須低於8才有機會奪冠。寇提斯以非常緩慢的速度闖關，結果只被扣4分，但是因為花費的時間超過比賽限制，又被多扣2.25分，最後他以6.25的最低扣分獲得勝利。
