以下列舉商品產地的實用說法：
．They are（imported）from + 國名／地名.
這些東西是從……（進口）來的。
．They are made/produced in + 國名／地名.
這些東西是在……製造的。
．You can probably only find them in + 國名／地名.
你大概只能在……才看得到這些東西。
例：Customer：Where are these sandals from? （顧客：這些涼鞋是哪裡做的？）
Vendor：They are made in Taiwan. （小販：它們是台製的。）

字字珠璣
．flexible a.有彈性的
例：These pants are very flexible, so they fit people of all different sizes.（這條褲子很有彈性，所以各種身材的人都可以穿。）
．breathable a.透氣的
例：My dad bought a pair of breathable jogging shoes for me.（我爸買一雙透氣慢跑鞋給我。）
take a deep breath 作深呼吸
例：The doctor told me to take a deep breath as he listened to my chest.（醫生幫我聽診胸腔時，叫我作深呼吸。）
．sneaker n. 運動鞋
= tennis shoe
= trainer（英式用法）
例：Ed wears a white pair of sneakers wherever he goes.（艾德不論去哪都穿著白色運動鞋。）
．comfortable a.舒適的
反義字：uncomfortable=a.不舒服的
例：Are you comfortable with so much jewelry around your neck?（脖子上戴這麼多珠寶妳舒服嗎？）
例：John felt uncomfortable in his new suit.（約翰穿著新西裝覺得很不舒服。）
．try...on/try on... 試穿／試戴……
凡衣服、褲子、帽子、鞋子、耳環、眼鏡、手錶等物件的「試穿」、「試戴」都可用 try on 表示。
例：You'd better try on the jeans before you buy them.（買牛仔褲之前你最好先試穿一下。）
