運動小百科
平衡木屬於競技體操項目，一般而言，只有女子體操有平衡木比賽。正式的平衡木長5公尺、寬0.1公尺、高1.2公尺。平衡木是由表面經過油漆處理的木頭製成，自1980年代起平衡木表面開始包上皮革，而現代的平衡木則裝有彈簧，以緩解高難度動作產生的壓力。
