例：Softball is a game similar to baseball but played with a larger and softer ball.（壘球是類似棒球的運動，但是球比較大也比較軟。）

運動小百科
壘球運動自1996年第26屆美國亞特蘭大奧運會成為正式比賽項目，目前只有女子壘球。它的規則類似棒球，但是壘球較棒球大，比賽場地較小，賽局也較短。國際奧委會於2005年7月召開全員大會時，投票通過自2012年倫敦奧運起，取消棒球與壘球項目。因此，這兩項運動在2008年第29屆北京奧運之後，將在奧運成為絕響。
